Prof. Paul Gader passed away

Seniha Esen Yuksel Erdem: It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the untimely passing of our beloved advisor, Prof. Paul Gader, due to liver cancer. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Gader. It has been an honor for me to know him and a privilege to be his advisee. Dr. Gader was an exceptional person; he was a curious and hardworking academic who made a significant impact with his research; and he is the mentor to many successful academicians who are now all around the globe. But above all, he was a kind-hearted individual. He always displayed kindness and was always humble; and with that, he left such a big mark on all those he touched. Dr. Gader had many international collaborations, loved to travel and had a passion for life in general, but especially for his family, research, and playing the saxophone.

Encountering someone with Dr. Gader's unique qualities is rare in life, and I wish the world could have had more opportunities to experience his remarkable character. He will forever remain in our hearts and be remembered by many.
